FREE COMMUNITY EVENT \(Park Fee - $3 per vehicle\)
Join us Saturday, March 8th from 9am to 3pm at Tree Tops Park! Water Matters Day brings interactive educational booths and displays, a tree giveaway for Broward residents, Mini BioBlitz, compost giveaway, food trucks, children's activities and more. Our schedule of events features award ceremonies for Broward County's Emerald Awards and Broward County Public Schools' WMD Student Contests, as well as expert mini-talks from UF/IFAS Broward, National Wildlife Federation, Filthy Organics, and BCPS-STEM.
We expect over 50 educational exhibits and booths helping residents and visitors learn about water conservation techniques, smart irrigation, native landscaping, and what role they play in protecting and conserving our water supplies.
