Purpose: Annual fundraising event for RMFTU’s programs to conserve, protect and restore coldwater streams and rivers, including Big Thompson, Cache la Poudre and North Platte rivers in Colorado. This event will kick-off Northern Colorado’s 2025 fly fishing season.
Anticipated Attendance: 400-600 RMFTU members, trout fishing enthusiasts, young adults and families, college students, First Responders and Veterans
Event Features:
o 25-30 Exhibitors \(likely including; RMFTU's programs, St. Peter's Fly Shop, SCHEELS, the Big Thompson Coalition, Colorado State University, She’s Fly, JAX Outdoor Gear, Mountain Fly Shop, Liarflies, U.S. Forest Service, and more\)
o Fly tying demonstrations from 20-25 tyers
o Silent and Live auctions – trips, gear, gift cards
o Raffle for high-end fly gear and/or trips
o Women’s oriented events
o Lots of fun for kids
o Expert Speakers
o Casting demonstrations
o Handouts – Trout Unlimited, Trout Hero Bags, \(While supplies last\)
o RMFTU-branded merchandize for sale
o Lunch \(food & beverage available for purchase on-site\)
o The show will go on regardless of weather
Admission:
o Adults — $15/person when pre-purchased on-line thru March 28th $20/person at the door on March 29
o Families — $25/family \(adults \+ children\) when pre-purchased on-line thru March 28th $30/ family at the door on March 29
o Students, First Responders, Active Military, and Veterans —$10/person
o Children \(under age 10\)—Free
